How it works, and what AI can't do

Your photo is resized, stripped of metadata, and sent to an image model with an instruction to redraw it as black ink line art on white, keeping the pose, the people and pets, the clothing shapes and the overall composition. Nothing about the photo is published, and no identity analysis is performed.

Clear, well-lit photos with one to four subjects who are reasonably large in the frame. Portraits, pets, weddings, holidays and everyday family moments all convert nicely.

Very dark or blurry photos, tiny faces in a crowd, complex crowd scenes, text on signs and clothing, hands at odd angles, and heavy patterns. The AI may simplify or alter small details — jewellery, logos, background objects, the exact fall of hair.

It is a drawing inspired by your photo, not a tracing of it. Likeness is usually good and occasionally imperfect.

Every purchased page can be retried once, free. Retries re-run the same photo with a fresh draw, which usually resolves distortion. If it doesn't, our refund policy applies.

Books are supplied as A4 and US Letter PDFs at print resolution. Print on plain paper for pencils, or 120 gsm and above if children will use felt pens.
